<p>well, something like that.</p>
<p>they are awesome! except that skyla cries because of the chili powder! poor kid. i will leave it out next time. it&#8217;s made of stuff like seeds, carrot pulp, ground flax seeds, olive oil, onion.</p>
<p>they are so good! dried them in the dehydrator. I made them thin, so i ended up doing a sandwhich thing with one patti on the plate topped with tomato, onion, and mayo, then put another patti on top and ate it that way.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is a stand-alone, tea-type bread that is so extremely healthy! i need to write down what I did so I can remember. I will confess, that i&#8217;m fasting but I did taste this bread, it smells so good, and I&#8217;ve frozen several pieces for me and Vitaliy when we both are here and I&#8217;m eating.</p>
<p>Ground (soaked) almonds, dates, baking soda, salt, applesause, olive oil, whole wheat flour, honey, eggs, vanilla.</p>
<p>Arg. It&#8217;s to DIE for! The dates and almonds I started by grinding in the food processor, then added stuff. The flour I made from wheat berries that I soaked all night then put through the Green Star juicer. It&#8217;s a wet flour, not dry. (The rest of the wheat berries, I&#8217;m sprouting and will use to make dried crackers/breads in the dehydrator.)</p>
<p>Also, made yummy treat balls that the kids LOVE. Dates, pecans, salt, honey, nutmeg, cinnamon. All mashed up in the food processor then dried in the dehydrator.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m also dehydrating fruit leather. I&#8217;m trying with blueberries, yogurt, and honey. All mixed smooth in the processor then poured onto greased foil trays&#8211;just hand-made trays from regular foil.</p>
<p>I see that I need to 1) made them thicker and 2) find a better way to grease the tray&#8211;I may lay plastic wrap on the foil tray, then the pour the fruit puree on that. (You can do these in an oven, too, and there are lots of recipes, demo videos and info online!</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve noticed that I&#8217;m doing a lot of fruity, sweet things right now. I need to move into more vegetables and &#8220;heavier&#8221; foods to be ready for when Vitaliy returns.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m dreaming to buy a crock pot and <a href="http://www.vitamix.com/" target="_blank">Vita-Mix</a> blender that does everything in the world&#8211;even grinds grain!</p>
<p>Made couscous, too, but they don&#8217;t like that . . . yet!</p>
